Susannah Winslow to Join CDP as Senior Director of Innovation and Partner Services

Boston, MA (September 14) – Contributor Development Partnership (CDP) today announced that Susannah Winslow has been named Senior Director of Innovation and Partner Services. Her first day will be September 26.

“CDP is thrilled to welcome Susannah to the CDP team,” said Michal Heiplik, President of CDP. “While innovation has been a core CDP value since our inception, Susannah’s deep public media experience and forward-thinking, mission-driven approach will bolster our services and help position our public media partner stations for future success.”

In her new role, Winslow will work with local public media stations to surface the best fundraising ideas across the system and bring them forward, leveraging scale to drive significant new revenue improvements for all stations. In addition, she will oversee CDP’s Partner Services, a team focused on developing emerging opportunities and tools for stations to strengthen all areas of fundraising including donor acquisition and engagement, data analytics, major gifts and planned giving.

Serving in a variety of roles over a 15-year career at Austin PBS, most recently as Vice President of Communications and Development where she led Austin PBS’s fundraising efforts through a period of significant growth, Winslow has experienced nearly every aspect of public media fundraising first-hand, “From customer service and gift entry to major gifts and strategic planning, my work at Austin PBS has given me a deep appreciation for the challenges faced by local public media stations; I look forward to developing innovative solutions and partnering with stations to help them find fundraising success in the months and years ahead.”, says Winslow.

Winslow currently serves as a member of the PBS Development Advisory Council and the Passport Station User Group.

About CDP

Founded as an initiative by GBH drawing together public media stations in strategic collaboration in 2011, CDP is now an independent public benefit corporation working on behalf of more than 230 public radio and television stations to share data across the system, analyze fundraising performance, and develop best practices. CDP’s mission is to grow net revenue for public media stations.

The “CDP idea” launched as an initiative by the Major Market Group of Public Television. With support from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and GBH, a group of stations built the industry’s first and only National Reference File, a tool used daily to help stations better understand areas of opportunity to increase their fundraising effectiveness and efficiency
